TP Sudhindra and Ankit Sharma of Deccan Chargers delivered one of the finest bowling spell against Uttar Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Representing MP in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, DC bowlers Sudhindra, Ankit Sharma and Anand Rajan maintained a disciplined line and length to dismiss the UP team for a low score of 105 in 39.5 overs.

UP who were asked to bat first struggled against the pace attack, showing very little resistance against the bowlers. Kaif was the only UP player who could withstand the attack scoring 38. Sudhindra and Sharma captured 3 wickets apiece, Sudhindra’s overall figures were 3 for 10 from 9 overs which included 3 maidens.

Ankit Sharma also produced some great variety to the bowling attack claiming 3 wickets for 25 runs in 9.5 overs which included 2 maidens. Anand Rajan also picked up a wicket giving away 18 runs in his spell of 7 overs.

Chasing a low target MP batsman went after the UP bowlers scoring the required runs under 15 overs. Naman Ojha scored 43 of 32 balls, J G Saxena remained unbeaten on 40 and Mohnish Mishra 19*sealed the win for MP.
