Ankit Sharma is a left-arm orthodox spinner from Gwalior who will turn out for the Deccan Chargers in IPL 2012. The 20-year-old, who plays domestic cricket for Madhya Pradesh, has been a regular in his state side over the last couple of seasons. Although he is primarily a left-arm spinner, Sharma has also made useful contributions with the bat at the No. 8 spot. He was with the Deccan Chargers during IPL 2011, but did not get a game then. He will be hoping to make his franchise debut in IPL 2012.
