Daniel Joseph Harris, an enduring Batsman and a qualified medical doctor plays for South Australia. He is a regular player for South Australia in all three forms of the game.
He was chosen to debut for South Australia in 1999-2000, but he did not get to bat for his team until 2004-05, when he made a raging 82 against Western Australia. He appeared for only two Pura cup in 2005-06. His first half century in first class came five years after his debut and his first class maiden century came eight years after his debut against Tasmania in 2007-08 where he scored 120 runs. His wonderful form continued for the next couple of seasons. Harris was at his best in the 2008-09 Sheffield season, where he made a colossal 813 runs and ascended to the fifth spot in the competition tally. From time to time Harris has showcased his excellent Fielding skills as well. Harris was picked up by the Deccan Chargers to play for the IPL 2012.
