Tanmay Mishra, an aggressive right-handed middle-order batsman made his ODI debut in 2006 against Zimbabwe. This Kenyan cricketer of Indian origin was noticed by the Kenyan squad for his maturity. Although his scores are not yet big, he has the technique and the temperament to dominate the bowlers. He was a part of 2007 Kenyan team for the World Cup. In October 2007 he enrolled himself in the University of India and for few years he could not make any appearances for the Kenyan National side. He returned to the National Team in the year 2010. Tanmay Mishra has been bought by the Deccan Chargers ahead of IPL 5. He has been signed as an ‘Indian’ as he has a dual-citizenship.
